The House of Fitzroy Constaintine

Fitzroy Constaintine is a modern tailoring and design house founded on craftsmanship, discipline, and the belief that clothing should carry both presence and purpose. Built in Atlanta, the brand blends traditional tailoring techniques with contemporary design thinking, creating garments that feel intentional, refined, and distinctly personal.

At its core, Fitzroy Constaintine is a studio where garments are engineered—not simply produced. Each piece begins with an in-depth consultation to understand the client's lifestyle, body, and aesthetic. From there, fabrics are selected, silhouettes are developed, and garments are sculpted through draping and pattern extraction. The result is clothing that fits not only the body, but the identity of the wearer.

Fabric Philosophy

Everything in our world moves—down to the atoms in our skin and clothes. Some holistic practitioners describe a healthy human body as vibrating around 62–72 Hz and consider natural fibers like linen and wool to be "high-frequency" fabrics, while synthetic fibers such as polyester and acrylic are "low-frequency" or neutral.
Whatever you believe about the numbers, the feeling is real. Linen, silk, cotton and wool are scientifically shown to be more breathable, moisture-wicking and hypoallergenic than common synthetics, helping regulate body temperature and reduce irritation. By contrast, polyester and other petroleum-based synthetics trap heat and moisture, and they shed microplastic fibers into the air and water each time they're worn and washed.

What House Constaintine Does With That

High-Frequency First
We put natural fibers next to your skin—linen, silk, wool, organic cotton. Y ou feel cooler, drier, and more present in your own body.
Low-Frequency Less
We avoid cheap synthetics wherever possible, especially in linings and pieces worn close to thebody. When we use a technical fiber (for structure or durability), it's intentional and never at the expense of comfort.

ENERGY YOU CAN FEEL

“Clients don’t need a scientific explanation.
They simply notice that a House Constaintine garment breathes, moves naturally, and feels refined throughout the day.”

Craftsmanship & Technical Mastery

The studio is currently expanding its design capabilities through advanced draping and pattern development, including the use of professional dress forms and couture techniques used in leading fashion houses. Fitzroy Constaintine continues to invest in technical mastery, drawing inspiration from the structured methods taught in elite fashion institutions such as the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD): precision, structure, and innovation.
The brand's creative direction focuses on custom garments that balance elegance and strength—72-hour bespoke suits (from $2,800), structured dresses, and refined silhouettes designed to stand apart in both professional and social settings. Signature pieces such as the Fitzroy Summer Dress, Fitzroy Wrap Dress, and Fitzroy Silk Slip represent the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and wearable luxury.

Building a Design House

Building a design house is not a single moment—it is a continuous process of shaping vision, systems, and culture. Every collection, fitting, and client interaction becomes part of a larger ecosystem that supports the brand’s growth. Documenting the process is essential, because it captures the evolution of ideas, craftsmanship, and identity over time. From early sketches and fabric selections to final garments and client experiences, each step contributes to the foundation of the house. As these elements develop together, they form more than a fashion label—they create a living design ecosystem where creativity, structure, and purpose work together to build a lasting legacy.
